Yesterday’s snowfall was pretty, but hard to clean up. I am really tired today from all the shoveling. Carol E of Giraffe Dreams has good photos of the snowstorm if you want to see.
Now, the recently completed project that was just meh? It’s a rug.

Dad’s Cardigan

Here’s another gift for Dad, a cozy cardigan. I really liked the texture motif that continued from the cuff up the sleeve and saddle. It’s technically a jacket, and is knit with bulky yarn, so it was relatively quick to knit.

Gansey in Triplicate

So, apparently, Mom and I created a monster when we collaborated on the first Gansey Watch Cap. It led to another, very similar hat, after which Dad asked for of his own (in the same two-color style) in maroon and gold, the U of MN Gopher colors.

A little cheese, a little whine

I cast-on for my first project of the new year last Friday. I was full of excitement, hope, and knitting promise. The yarn was a good match for the pattern, light colored with good stitch definition. A very good start!
