This past weekend, I was in need of a simiple project to work on during the Bohus events. I thought garter stitch mitts would be perfect.

Dad’s Cardigan

Here’s another gift for Dad, a cozy cardigan. I really liked the texture motif that continued from the cuff up the sleeve and saddle. It’s technically a jacket, and is knit with bulky yarn, so it was relatively quick to knit.

The Logan River Wrap was such an enjoyable project. Everything went smoothly, the pattern repeat was easy to memorize. I did have yardage issues, but the wrap gained length during the blocking process, which made up for that.

Oceans of Tweed

Schrödinger has posted her sock pattern! She provides both cuff-down and toe-up instructions. I think it’s a really nice unisex pattern that works well with tonal or subtly variegated yarns. Her socks are knit in a great Trekking XXL colorway.
