Here is the last of the gifts I made for my recommendation letter writers!
Late last year, I asked a big favor from three very busy people: letters of recommendation. I could have sent thank you notes, but decided I would make each person a handknit gift. Here’s the first one!

Here’s pair of recent FOs I think I’m safe to show you all. :) (Note to S-Let me know if you want this post hidden until after the holidays!) These little scarves were made for S to give as gifts later this month.
It’s finished! Yay! I ended up ordering one more skein of Crystal Palace Yarns “Party” online and it arrived a couple weeks ago. It was enough for me to be able to finish the scarf. And just in time for Mother’s Day!
I guess I haven’t been a very good knitblogger lately. :/ Partly because I’ve been obsessively knitting a stalled shawl and then a simple scarf for a silent auction fundraiser, another scarf of my own design, and partly because of the technology blahs.

I’ve been able to progress farther along on my left-hand scarf project. I was able to finish 8 inches in one sitting, yay! Some observations: Tension, tension, argh!
