Potholders

By chance, I found out that Metro Meals on Wheels were asking for donations of handmade (knit, crochet, or sew) potholders. They would be used by drivers or given to clients. Ravelympics 2008: FO #1

Whew, I finished my first project for the Ravelympics on Monday! :) I’m really happy with the results. It wasn’t a difficult pattern, but was time-consuming. With this, I earned medals in Sweater Sprint and Colorwork Cross-Country.

The Ravelry is doing a fun knit/crochet/spin/dye/whatever-along during the 2008 Olympics, with over 5500 members participating. I signed up with two projects and two teams: The [...]

Summer 08 Socks

June always gets busy for me. Since I last blogged, I’ve been to a school reunion (fun!), celebrated my birthday (goodies!), formatted my computer (finally!), and finished two pairs of socks (woo!).

Hi! I’m Munchkin, resident cute kitty! lime wanted me to tell you 1) she’s crazy busy (fortunately not so crazy that she doesn’t forget to feed me or laptime after lunch!) and 2) ‘Thank you!’ for your lovely comments about the green socks.

I’m also supposed to give you a sneak peek of her new [...]
