September 22 to November 24 2006 This tournament pits socknitters all around the world against each other. Our weapons are our socks: the pattern, yarn and needles. We are assigned a target. Once our target receives a completed pair of socks, they have been killed off and must send their uncompleted pair and target info to their assassin, who gets to continue in the tournament. |
| June through August 2006 The One Skein Secret Pals Exchange was led by Interweave Press in conjunction with the release of One Skein. For June and July, we were to send a package to our secret pals containing an interesting or unique skein. Then in August, we had to send a handknitted (or crocheted) item made with one skein. I sent packages to Nicole in New York (blog-free) and received goodies from Molly (KnittinMol). | |
| June through August 2006 We are matched up to spoil a knitblogger anonymously with goodies each month. My spoilee was Nicole of Knerq, and my spoiler was Lorinda from redhead ramblings. | |
