&lt;p&gt;So the nice thing about that twitchy urge to cast on? If you have a base sort of fallback project (like bibs or something), you can do that for a little bit and kinda displace that twitch. Or at least I&#039;ve been able to...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m totally impressed by the doily.  If you overdyed the thread in a more Christmasy green and switched to crocheting snowflakes, you could have a Christmas garland - taking your lack of focus even further!&lt;/p&gt;
