Fair-ly Good
Last week, on opening day, I popped over to the MN State Fair to check on my entries. The first one I found was the Ryan hat
with a white ribbon attached! (Yes, that’s a freakishly magnified reflection of my hand on my camera!)
It wasn’t until I turned around to look at the blue-ribbon case until I found my other two entries.
I feel bad for the mannequin, the Short-Row Hat is way too small for her! If you recall, I entered this last year, but it got shuffled into an incorrect category (hats with colorwork), so I saved it to try again this year in the plain hat category. I was very surprised!
And there’s my Logan River Wrap, which won the heavyweight shawl category. Wow!
