Bunny, bunny

I’m taking a break from Ravelympics 2008 (more about that later) to show you all my latest FO.

This was a fun, quick project. The last time I knit something with a large intarsia motif was when I made the Elephant Pullover. (Wow, that was almost 4 years ago!) With this project, I can see how much my technique has improved. I wouldn’t want to do intarsia very often, but it’s definitely fun and worthwhile upon occasion.

The only tweaks I made with this pattern were to work the first row of a new color in knit instead of rib, so the lines would be clean. I also worked the collar in the round to eliminate the seam. (I should’ve aligned it to one of the sides to hide these pesky yarn ends, oh well.)

By now, I believe Mom has handed this over to the recipient. Maybe we’ll get a modeled photo?
