Spring Green
19.May.08 ~ 6:23 am
For the past few days I’ve only been working on these.
Pretty, aren’t they? I love how they look complicated, but really aren’t. Well, I haven’t gotten to the gussets yet, so I might be wrong. : )
(These are Cookie A’s Ornette Socks, currently being test-knit.)

Gorgeous! I think it’s time to pull out some of my solid yarns and do some texture…
Ooooooooh, those are pretty! I need to knit that one, I think.
Woo hoo! Love the colour, and you’re getting wonderful stitch definition.
Today I get to rip mine apart and start all over again. Long story, but it involves one little mis-crossed cable, an attempt to ladder down just two measly rows to fix it, a cat on my lap who got startled by a neighbour dropping a garbage can, and a subsequent mass escape by stitches which were supposed to stay on the needles. Sigh.
They look lovely to me!
Gee, I feel like a broken record, but I love those socks so far!
Those are turning out even more beautiful than ever. I love the colour!
They look great!
Very nice. Cookie comes up with some great stuff, doesn’t she? I obviously need more solid sock yarn in my life.
ooooooooooooooooooo. so cool. It does look complicated.
Those are stunning! Wow.
Very tempting pattern!
Oh I love them! Are those your own design? I covet them.
Very pretty! I almost thought they were a pair of gauntlets (or fingerless mittens).
Those are NOT complicated??? wow! THey are looking great!!
Wow, gorgeous. Love the green (what a surprise lol). *mental note* I must knit some solid colour socks.
