Have you any Panda Wool?
I thought this last-minute but thoughtful gift would be a Breeze. But disaster has befallen; I have completely run out of yarn!
Cables and skimpy yardage** turned out to be a bad match. Even though I should’ve known better, I had every faith that what I had (one skein plus a bit leftover from the baby hat and booties already knit from a second skein) would be enough. Nope.
So close! See? All I need is enough yarn to finish the last 2.5 inches. Probably about 10 grams, certainly less than a half-skein. The color is 2209 Saffron, a peach or light orange. I had dyelot A; however, at this point, I’ll take any dyelot. I’m really hoping someone out there has some leftover they would be willing to share. I would gladly pay the shipping. I’ve already posted in the ISO/Destash group on Ravelry, and checked peoples’ stashes. Alas, it seems to be an uncommon color.
The three LYSes here that carry Crystal Palace yarn apparently don’t stock any of their sock yarns. I could order a new skein online. I’m putting off this option as long as possible, though.
So… have you any Panda Wool in Saffron?
**The website lists yardage as 186, but the ballband lists it as 170. It’s either an error or they’ve increased the skein size. I can’t find the purple Panda Wool I bought recently to check the weight and ballband. Sock #1 weighs 29 grams, oi!

I think Needlework Unlimited carries panda wool & panda cotton. A couple other shops do too. (knitintensity was using it at the summer picnic, so it’s been on my radar of sorts)

Depth of Field has Panda Wool and so does Double Ewe I believe. I also know that Purlescence in Sunnyvale Ca does too. I have some but not the right color, good luck in your hunt.

Awww that’s rotten! I think my LYS (Twist in Wichita, KS) carries this yarn but I don’t know about that color! Good luck!
