Aftershock
Congratulations to trek who left comment number 2,000! She chose the Amazon.com gift certificate. Many, many thanks to all of you for making blogging fun!
Ahem. I’m afraid I haven’t completely caught up with all the yarn I’ve acquired lately. Here’s a few more things…
The new Blue Moon Fiber Arts’ Raven Series was too much for me to resist, but I did limit myself by ordering only two things. It took a long time to pick out Ravenscroft, a gorgeous green-black.
The fat skein is Twisted in Korppi. I chose this colorway because it has hints of purple and green in the black and grey! I had planned to knit a new mitten and hat set for myself. But in early November (after I ordered), I finally found a new, everyday winter coat, that unfortunately clashes with these colors.
Maybe I can use it for a Ribby Pulli someday? (Check out the projects by twistedstitches or tapmouse2; they used Twisted for the contrast part.)
Last weekend, I stopped in at the Needlework Unlimited Outlet because they had their remaining stock of Adrienne Vittadini discounted 50%. I found these two skeins in a lovely deep red color. They’d be just right for fingerless mitts.

More yarn fumes….. ;o)
Congrats, Trek! *sigh* So far I’ve resisted the Raven series…
That Raven series is tempting me as well - I’d love a whole sweater out of one of the colorways, but how do I pick just one?
Congrats Trek! I’ve been eyeing the Raven series, but so far I’ve resisted. It helps that I can’t decide on a colorway.
I like the Raven series as well, but haven’t been able to decide….Did I miss something? 3 Kittens is clearing out all their Adrienne Vittadini as well.
Luckily, I haven’t been able to decide on a color in the Raven series. Otherwise I’d be in deep trouble. The one you decided on is really gorgeous though.
Why are they discontinuing carrying that yarn?
And mmmm raven. Tough call which I’d like, which is why it’s easy to resist ;) love the idea of it as a contrast yoke!
Well done, Trek! That raven series that Blue Moon is doing is very tempting indeed :)
Are you trying to catch up to Guinifer’s shopping prowess???
Hi, a quick question here. How do you make the little R for a Ravelry link, like you have next to the Ribby Pulli?
Nice stash enhancement. Enjoy knitting with those goodies :)
