Primal
I was so very surprised when I won another contest a couple weeks ago!
This time, the prize was a skein of Scout’s Swag, which I have coveted for quite a while. Isn’t it cool? The colorway is new, and is named after Kill Bill.
Yellow actually is one of my least favorite colors, but somehow the shades of yellow mixed with the white and black makes this colorway seem happy and inspiring (sunny, perhaps?).
Mom went on another business trip recently, this time to Washington, DC. She stopped in the Georgetown store of Stitch DC, and bought these awesome skeins of Claudia Hand Painted Yarns.
The colorway? Leopard! How perfect. And rather ironic is the fact that I immediately thought of Cookie A’s Monkey sock pattern. Hmm….
Last, but not least is the newest Rockin’ Sock Club shipment.
The colors are amazing, much more than my picture conveys. And the name, Firebird, is perfect timing; it complements summer heat and Harry Potter mania. : )

This is the first STR shipment that I have received where I immediately loved the yarn. I’m ready to abandon the cardi to start, but MUST NOT.

Pretty, pretty, pretty. I’ve had serious envy over that STR yarn. Kill Bill is a fantastic name for that Scout’s Swag - it’s got Uma written all over it!
