Twenty and a half
I’ve decided a July list is just the thing to get myself back on track.
- Finish my pal’s socks for Sockapalooooza.
- Wash/block the Cropped Cardigan and attach the buttons.
- Start a pair of gift socks.
- Resume a UFO (low priority).
- Finish knitting and full the swatch for the big Christmas gifts.
While on the topic, one of my summer knitting goals was to catch up with my Stash Tracker spreadsheet. I’d neglected it all spring long. Bad lime! I’m promising myself to be much more diligent from now on.
|
Total Yardage |
78,660 (44.69 miles, 71,927 meters) |
|
Sock Yarn Only |
34,754 (19.75 miles, 31,779 meters)… which is enough to knit 91.5 pairs of adult-sized socks! (44.18% of stash) |
The last time I reported progress was back in March and at that time the sock pair count was 71. Gulp!
Clearly, I need to learn how to knit in my sleep. : ) Oh, and a plan for Yarn Diet Phase 2 is in the works.
Tags: progress, to-do, yarn stashHeh, and THAT’S why I am afraid to calculate my total sock yarn!
If you figure out how to knit in your sleep, please let me know.
I can’t even imagine trying to calculate… there are so many odds and ends in my stash!
Okay, that mileage is scary!!! Can’t wait to see what phase two is.
Gosh - you’re going to be busy!
Wow, that’s quite a stash you have going! There is no way I am making a spreadsheet, it would just stress me out :) Isn’t there a pair-of-socks per week KAL going on? That would get you half way there!
I can’t wait to see your cardigan!
I’m so glad I can say I don’t have 91 pairs. Or something…. maybe not. Mmmmm sock yarn mmmmm.

I have been wondering how your cardigan looks like for a while now. Thanks to google reader, I do get updates from your blog. You have posted so many while I was gone! I need to catch up with your side.
