Grand Shop Hop

A couple weekends ago was the “Handcrafts on Grand Shop Hop.” The stores included The Yarnery, The Bead Monkey, and Treadle Yard Goods. Mom and I decided to go, because we hadn’t been to two of the participating stores yet. I’m glad we did, even if it was cold and rainy!

I’ve finished both cuffs/legs of the sock for my pal in the Hogwarts Sock Swap. Today is Show and Tell Friday, and we get House Points if we blog about our socks-in-progress for our pals. Back to my Hogwarts socks… remember the snafu with the dyelots? Even though I’m using the same stitch count and needle size, the difference is obvious between the two skeins of Lorna’s Laces Bee Stripe.

It’s finished! Yay! I ended up ordering one more skein of Crystal Palace Yarns “Party” online and it arrived a couple weeks ago. It was enough for me to be able to finish the scarf. And just in time for Mother’s Day!
