On Monday, Nicole of Knerq left the 1,000th comment here! Yay! She chose the Amazon gift certificate as her prize. Nicole is thinking about getting a knitting book and is taking suggestions. There are tons of good choices, which book would you recommend?

Knitting Without Tears. Such a no-nonsense book that really got me thinking for myself as a knitter.

I’d go for one of the knitting reference books, like Vogue Knitting, or a Walker Treasury of Knitting Patterns. They’re more expensive, so the gift certificate will defray some of the cost.
