Still cursed, but…
Quick question! Is anyone doing a Stash Flash on April 1 again this year?
I’m still battling the sock curse. Meanwhile, I’ve got an almost FO and a FO to show you all!!

Saturday morning, I woke up to fog. That doesn’t happen very often around here. It usually burns off by sunrise. Or, if it lingers, it’s usually only in the Mississippi valley. These pictures were taken with my Treo camera at around 7 AM.

Congratulations Dyveke of Mitt lille univers! :)
PS, I don’t know if anyone noticed, but I mislabeled this contest as #6 previously, when it should’ve been #5. Oops!

Quick reminder! Just a few hours left to leave a comment for a chance to win some lovely Socks That Rock. Oh, and I want to clarify something—it’s my first blogiversary. I used this domain for something else during the first 3-4 years. : )
I started new Project Spectrum socks with the Fortissima I bought earlier this year. I love the striping and colors. The gray, white and blues are very ‘wintery.’

The long wait is over! My kit from the Knit Mitt Kit Swap arrived last week! I had all but forgotten about it and was awaiting delivery of some shoes I’d ordered. When I saw the box, I thought, “Shoes!” and ripped it open only to find tissue paper and softness underneath. I tried to remember what I had ordered, then as I lifted the tissue paper and saw the bag underneath, “Oh! KMKS!” My kit came from Lauren of Knitting in the Desert.

For a while, I wasn’t sure what date to use for my blogiversary. Several dates stood out in my website’s timeline. Should I pick:

Last week was one of these weeks where no matter how much I work, I seem to accomplish very little. Yuck.
Friday before last was the first of a series of warm spring-like days, and I went to two LYS, The Yarnery, and Borealis Yarns.

My computer and Treo have been updated and should change the time accordingly. (I hope so, anyway.)
Sock Madness, which I joined, starts today. My yarn and needles are at hand.

A few days late, but I want to review my February goals:
Finish Fluted Banister SocksDone!
Warm up America squares for drop-off at Knit OutDone, but mailed instead.
Start a pair of gift socksDone!
- Get yarn to finish Mom’s gift Failed! I never managed to make it to Borealis Yarn. If I don’t accomplish this task in March, I’ll see if I can find some online instead.
Resume the Cropped CardiganDone!
Pretty good! I’m not making a March “To Do” list. But it would be great if I finish the cardigan.

Whoa! Even with recent additions, I somehow lost yardage this month. Hmm. There might be a mistake somewhere. I’m still tweaking my stash spreadsheet. But it’s cool to have red numbers! :)
