Them’s the Breaks

Thanks everyone for your comments regarding the Mermaid Socks! I appreciate them all and will respond to the comments as soon as I can. I’ve been lax this week.

I’ve been working on some simple garter squares to drop off for Warm Up America this weekend. Mindless knitting, but I’ve had a hard time finishing them. All week my energy and motivation levels have been low.

It hasn’t been a bad week per se, but there certainly have been incidents.

Incident #1: My eyeglasses slipped off the bathroom shelf and broke into two pieces. (Luckily I have a backup, albeit ugly, pair.)

Incident #2: My DVD Player is broken. (I managed to watch one Cadfael episode, but other DVDs won’t play.)

Incident #3: Yesterday, I came down with a cold.

Here’s to a quick recovery (both my health and knitting mojo, please). Cheers!

Feel better soon (both you and your dvd player.)

Definitely not a great week… you’ll have to follow up next Friday with three good things that happened! Have a good weekend.

Oh no! To be not feeling well, and without a DVD player as well…that is grim. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Yikes! Certainly not a stellar week. Here’s too a wonderful weekend that works its way into a much better next week!

Well, they say it comes in threes, so you should be good to go now, right??? Hope you feel better…

I hope you feel better soon! My DVD player died a while ago and I’ve been watching DVDs on my computer since then. I keep meaning to get a new one, but you know how it is. ;)

Get well soon!

Limedragon - hope you are okay by now. For some reason my bloglines isn’t letting me know when your blog is being updated - now I have the pleasure of going back a bit to get caught up. Those mermaid socks are fab!
