I have no title
The zebra socks are finally finished! I’ve snapped a few photos and will check and make sure they’re OK before I wrap and ship them off later today. We have absolutely no sunlight, it’s very overcast; I’m not promising great photos, but will post them tomorrow.
I found a new use for leftover sock yarn through Knitting Iris. She recently posted a picture of a few squares; the pattern is from Fun Knits and it uses only 13g of sock yarn. I have plenty of colorful yarn to make an interesting blanket, so I may try that with sock leftovers this year.
My WEBS package from the end of the year finally arrived. I got a bunch of Jo Sharp DK Cotton in awesome, vibrant colors. I will be using them for potholders from Domino Knitting, which I’ve always wanted to knit. Actually, I already tried, but I only had worsted weight cotton, and my efforts looked awful.
I also ordered some Dale Baby Ull to knit Loon socks from Knitting on the Road. (The official pattern name is Huron Mountain.) Unfortunately, an error occurred, and I got two white skeins, instead of two black. I’ve already contacted WEBS and am waiting for a reply. Although, I’ll admit, negative Loon socks might be kind of cool.
I also signed up for Project Spectrum 2.0—I wasn’t planning to, but I liked the bi-monthly format (more time!) and the color groupings. My participation plan is to knit socks using at least one color from each group. I’ve already got a few stashed skeins in mind.

The Loon/Huron socks are cool - it will be fun to see you knit those up.
Nice pile ‘o yarn!
Socks for Project Spectrum sounds perfect to me.
I love the squares so much I think I’m going knit some myself :) That pile of yarn is gorgeous.
I am completely in love with those squares. Thanks for the ‘turn on’ (sorry, couldn’t resist the 60’s lingo).

I have been really bumming out about the lack of beautiful sunlight to take pictures, too. Everything looks so muddy or else overexposed from the flash.
