Knitflix Swap Package

I received my package from my swap partner, Megan of Mega(k)nits last week! It was fantastic!
The movie she sent me is Alex & Emma, with Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson. It’s a fun, quirky romance. Kate Hudson, and her mom, Goldie Hawn, as you all probably know, are knitters, and there’s a scene in this movie where Kate/Emma is working on a project on circular needles. I would bet it was one of her real projects. And have you ever seen circular needles used in a movie or TV scene? Fun! Plus, Luke Wilson? Yum!
I got some sour Skittles, M&Ms, chic knitting notecards, some delicious-smelling coconut lime lotion, a cute lime-green bead kit, and H monogram sticky notes. She also sent me a handknit, soft washcloth in lime green (notice the theme?) and yummy yarn! I loved the Karaoke colorway she selected for me, Mermaid Mix, purple-teal-green, very pretty! I think I would like to knit handwarmers with this.

Cool package! I think I have that movie somewhere… maybe I will dig it up and watch it on my sick day off (today) from work
