A Decision: I have just decided to put myself on a yarn diet through the end of the year. I simply don’t need any more yarn right now. And in fact, i’ve actually been resisting and trying not to buy any yarn lately. Scout’s Indie Swag Club was such a HUGE temptation… I so wanted in but I managed to talk myself out of it. Lately, I’ve only been buying yarn for soon-to-be-knit projects (eg: scarves for donation) or for gifts. I’ve been happy with my moderation.
However, a huge hole broke through my restraint today when I got a newsletter from Kpixie about some scrummy sock yarn in stock from All Things Heather and new-to-me The Fiber Denn. Before I knew it, my mouse clicked and sent in an order for one skein of each.
Now, I would like to declare publicly and clearly here that I shan’t buy any yarn until after the new year begins. One exception is that I can purchase for a gift/swap, if needed. It’s doubtful that would happen because I’ve shopped already for specific colors or projects as mentioned above. I’m all set for the next 3 months! (Reminder to myself, no yarn shop surfing = more knitting time!)

I should go on a yarn diet too. I’ve been buying WAY too much yarn in the past month and I’m starting to get a backlog of projects:b I think I found the elusive Limedragon, but I haven’t e-mailed you yet:)
