I got a plain brown box in the mail yesterday, and I didn’t recognize the name on the return address… but as soon as I noticed it came from San Francisco, I thought, Atlantis? Could it be from my 1SSP?
Yup, it was! The first thing I saw upon opening the box was a beautiful artsy gift bag. That paper you see paper-clipped onto the bag was a very nice letter from Molly of Knittinmol.
And what was inside? Oh my goodness!!!
I love this felted bag, with my trademark lime green dragon. How perfect!
The surprises didn’t stop there. On the other side of the bag, I found…
WOW! Molly wrote that she “liked my logo so much that she wanted to create something with it.” And also that it was her first time charting an intarsia design and also needlefelting. While she didn’t use a pattern for the bag, the handles were inspired by the clutch in OneSkein.
The bag is lined, too!
Don’t you think Molly did a great job with this bag? Go on over to her blog and give her props.
Inside the bag, I found some fun goodies.
Thank you so much Molly, I loved the bag and the goodies inside. It was a fun and very thoughtful gift. I know I will treasure the bag forever and happily show it off to people on your behalf. :)
