Quick Madder Ribbed socks update… I haven’t been able to work on them very much, but I plan to finish them both by tomorrow evening. Fingers crossed, except when knitting!

I have a BUSY weekend coming up. On Saturday, my parents and I are going to Shepherd’s Harvest. Althought I don’t have my secret pals’ (yes, plural) information yet, I’m hoping to get some fun gifts there. Then on Sunday morning, Mom and I are team-walking at Race for the Cure at MOA. (I’m debating whether I should bring a knitting project; I’m tempted, but I know it will be crowded, and I may not have an appropriate project for walking.)

Oh yeah! I’m hoping for some MDSW weather mojo… the weather prediction: rainy and cool this weekend. : /

Dyann tagged me for a meme. I don’t have a hubby or SO, so I skipped that.

Seven things to do before I die:

  1. Knit a Dale of Norway Olympic sweater
  2. Knit an Alice Starmore design
  3. Knit a Hanne Falkenberg design (Diva, Butterfly, Tweedie, Corona, or Tivoli)
  4. Visit Las Vegas, Nevada (and the Hoover Dam)
  5. See the Grand Canyon (close up and personal; from an airplane is different, no?)
  6. Visit London
  7. Visit Italy

Seven things I cannot do:

  1. Drive
  2. Sing
  3. See in the dark
  4. Write left-handed
  5. Make/embroider a French knot. (I know how, mine just don’t work!)
  6. Garden (a: I hate getting dirty and b: bugs and itty bitty creatures freak me out)
  7. Watch TV without knitting (unless I’m exhausted)

Seven books that I love (gosh, it was hard to limit myself!):

  1. The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
  2. The Jane Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
  3. Marcus Didius Falco mysteries by Lindsey Davis
  4. SPQR series by John Maddox Roberts
  5. Ovid’s Metamorphoses
  6. Homer’s The Odyssey
  7. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontė

Seven things I say:

  1. Yum!
  2. Heya
  3. Can we go to Starbucks?
  4. Come here kitty.
  5. No!
  6. Huh?
  7. Okay

Seven movies I’ve loved:

  1. Star Wars (A New Hope)
  2. Blast from the Past
  3. Men in Black
  4. The Girl in the Cafe
  5. A Beautiful Mind
  6. Benny and Joon
  7. Monsters, Inc.

Seven people I’m gonna tag:

Whoever wants to play, go ahead! : )
